Message:	Did you know that same-sex couples in Colorado do not have basic legal rights? It’s true. Loving couples are denied basic protections such as hospital visitation or inheritance. Referendum I would change that. Ref I would grant basic legal rights by creating legal recognition for “domestic partnerships”. Ref I is not marriage. It’s basic legal rights. And it’s time Colorado took this important step forward.
